About the ChamberEstablished on August 5, 1976, the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce in Shoreline, WA, stands as a steadfast advocate for the local business community. Throughout the decades, it has been instrumental in nurturing economic growth, providing networking opportunities, and championing the diverse interests of its membership. The Shoreline Chamber of Commerce was initiated by a group of over 110 charter members. Notably, during that period, the area was still unincorporated in King County, and "Shoreline" denoted the school district in the vicinity. An influential player in the incorporation of the City of Shoreline in 1995, the Chamber continues to be a dynamic force in shaping the local business landscape. The Chamber is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors comprised of an Executive Committee (President, Vice President, Past President, Treasurer, and Secretary) and six additional directors. Annual elections for the Board of Directors take place each October for the following calendar year, with terms spanning from January 1 to December 31. |
