The Purchasing and Supply Chain program at Shoreline Community College is built around certificates and degrees and is perfect for those who want to add to their skills or re-career. It is a career that touches all industries and has more opportunities now than ever before.

About the Speakers:

Amy Stapleton has worked at Shoreline Community College for over 20 years. The last ten years she has worked in Communications & Marketing and the newly formed Outreach and Recruitment Department. She represents the college in the schools and in the Shoreline community. You’ve probably seen her at many community events.

Matt Versdahl is a PMP Certified Project Manager, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and Six Sigma Black Belt. Currently, he is an Operations Manager at Harborview Medical Center, and a faculty member in the business department at Shoreline Community College.

At Harborview, Matt is responsible for the day-to-day operations of four different groups as well as managing projects, facilities maintenance, managing the budget, process improvement and planning strategy.

Matt has taught college level courses since 2008 of classroom instruction experience, online and in the classroom. He has also taught a variety of courses from Humanities to Business. He is currently overseeing two programs in the business department at Shoreline Community College. As a researcher, he successfully defended his thesis to earn a Master of Arts degree in 2006.
